Hi, I'm Jervais
I’m a somatic therapist, counselling student and educator. I use body-oriented modalities & mindfulness practices to support those struggling with anxiety, PTSD, depression, codependency, emotional abuse and trauma to help them move out of chronic survival mode, self-regulate their over-stimulated nervous system and tap into the innate wisdom of their body.
My greatest lessons have come from my deepest heartaches, which thematically centered around: abuse, grief, shame & unworthiness, codependency, people-pleasing, compulsive habits, lack beliefs and sexual trauma. I've lived a wild life and had a decade of darkness; on the other side, I discovered healing, balance, freedom, authenticity and the innate wisdom of the heart.
You have everything you need to heal within you, too. My role is to be a light, a wayshower, a support and a guide for you. To help you to discover your own inner knowing. To help you understand your overstimulated nervous system and how to support it in practical, livable ways. I'm here to co-regulate with you and provide a safe refuge... to support you in embodying your wholeness and living that innate knowing, new found capacity and sovereignty.
