Hi, I'm Jervais
I’m a Somatic Therapist, Counsellor and nervous system educator offering online virtual sessions. I use body-oriented modalities, talk therapy & mindfulness practices to support those struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, PTSD, depression, codependency and trauma to help them become their own medicine and tap into the innate wisdom of their body.
My greatest lessons have come from my deepest heartaches and my lived, direct experience has, like so many of us, taken me to all sorts of weird, wonderful and, at times, very dark places. A few of those places were so dark and seemingly insurmountable that I was sure I was never going to see the light again. On a daily basis I walked around with my nervous system in 100% survival mode, almost 100% of the time. I also carried a deep shame—the feeling that I was either inherently wrong or bad. I had a decade of darkness; on the other side, I discovered healing, balance, freedom, authenticity and the innate wisdom of the heart.
You have everything you need to heal within you, too. My role is to be a light, a wayshower, a support and a guide that points you back to you. To help you to discover your own inner knowing. To help you understand your nervous system and how to support it in practical, livable ways. I'm here to co-regulate with you and provide a safe refuge... to support you in embodying your wholeness and living that innate knowing, new found capacity and sovereignty.
